We’re so excited to have Hailey join the lab as a PhD student! She comes to us with a BS in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from Yale and a wide range of experiences in animal research. She will play a critical role in getting our work in neural circuits up an running. Welcome Hailey!

May 28, 2024: Thai joins for the summer!

We’re super excited to have Thaissa join the lab for summer through the Vanderbilt School of Engineering Summer Research Program! Thai joins us from Johns Hopkins University and has a strong background in electrical engineering. She will be working towards characterizing the optical, mechanical, and electrical properties of our transparent, flexible neural probes.

May 1, 2024: Welcome Daniel Woods!

We’re super excited to have Daniel Woods join as the lab’s second PhD student! Daniel is a native Tennessean and received both a BS and Masters in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. He will be co-advised by Christos Constantinidis and help establish our first major collaboration as we expand our technologies from rodents to non-human primates.

February 28, 2024: Camila joins the lab!

We’re so excited to welcome Camila Romero to the lab as our first research technician! Camila earned her BS in Neuroscience from West Virginia University. She has an extensive neuroscience skillset that will hugely benefit multiple projects, but will also aid in the lab’s microfabrication efforts. Welcome Camila!
