This is an effort to contribute to science in a meaningful, fun way outside of the standard venue of publications. Here, we cover a wide range of topics on neuroscience, nanofabrication, engineering, mentorship, and professional development. We get into the details here: the juicy, useful pieces of info that are hard to find in published papers. Sure, you know what a microscope looks like, but how do you build one?

For now, it’s just me (Daniel) writing up what I think is useful to the community. In the future, I look forward to have Gonzales Lab students and postdocs contributing as well for a fun but detailed repository of a many topics.
